Hug Free Zone

So anyone in Australia that's listened to the news in the past week would know about that school in Adelaide that banned hugging. I mean COME ON, what is the big deal? My primary school has had hugging band for years, and I remember cause in grade 7 we were always getting in trouble for it and my high school has the '30cm rule' which should be pretty self-explantatory.

But how about we put it into context hey? For primary school kids, school is pretty much a work place, and I don't know about you, but at my workplace we're not really allowed to go around hugging each other all the time.

Secondly, at that age, between 10 and 12, hugging is pretty much their emotional equivelent of the horizontal tango. Its worse then hugging because as my friend told me when I was nervous about holding my first boy friend's hand, "Hugging's harder I reckon, cause there's full body contact." And kissing? Well that's basically a marriage proposal.

I dunno, maybe this is just my opinion, maybe some other people will change their minds cause of what I've said. Let me know what you all think.

Okay, so I know what you're all thinking, why on earth do crayons make her dizzy? Well the truth is, they don't really. And I don't even know why I called it that, it just seemed cool at the time. And now it seems pretty lame... but anyways....

So Hi! I'm Danielle and this is officially my first blogspot post! Well infact my first blog ANYTHING post so its likely REALLY bad :) And if you're reading this please bear with me... I'm half asleep because its been exam week and stress levels are through the roof... I think I did okay though :)

So yeah... I'm in year 11 (how old does that make me?), I'm pretty smart and I am prone to random obsessions :) I'm learning piano, but I really suck at it cause I can't play both hands at the same time :(

And ya... I'm probably really boring you all right now, so until next time when I can think of something better to say!
